Flying
| Cadets learn to fly in the Grob Tutor
(Right). This aircraft has good all-round visibility, it also allows the pilot and cadet to sit side
by side to ease the learning process.
As Air Cadets we get the opportunity to go flying. The
are no awards to achieve at the initial stage, but at 16, you can go on a Flying Scholarship Course.
Below 16 we gain AEF (Air Experience Flying) leading up to the Flying Scholarship.
Many
Cadets choose to do aerobatics such as loops, barrel rolls, and stalls. This is a great opportunity
and a once in a lifetime experience for many, and something that is unique to the ATC.
