As Air Cadets, we go shooting very regularly. Shooting provides a sense of friendly competitiveness between the cadets as there are a number of awards available to achieve.
Shooting with the Air Cadets consists of a number of activities, these are: Grouping, Snap, Application and Rapid. But to do most of the activities you must show the Range Officer that you are a competent shooter and are not a risk to others around you.
In my view, the opportunity to go shooting is the highlight of being an Air Cadet.
