2012 (Caldicot) squadron are part of a national organization, the Air Training Corps (ATC) The Air Cadets are sponsored and supported by the Royal Air Force and were founded in 1941.
2012 (Caldicot) Squadron was formed 24 March 1964, and is part of No1 Welsh Wing, which covers South East Wales with the Wing Headquarters located in Maindy Barracks, Cardiff. No 1 Welsh Wing is in turn part of the Wales and West Region.
Caldicot Squadron is located in the heart of Caldicot on Jubilee Way, a convenient walk from the Town Centre. You can read about our proud history on this website too.
There are around 900 Squadrons and Detached Flights across the UK staffed by volunteers providing opportunities for training, development and enjoyment for nearly 35,000 young people.

If your interest is in Flying, Sports, Adventure Training, Camping, Shooting, Drill, Abseiling, Overseas Travel or Fieldcraft you will find out about these and much more by looking around this site - they are all activities provided by the Air Cadets. You can also work towards your Duke of Edinburgh's award by undertaking Cadet activities as well as gaining valuable BTEC qualifications! All this from a youth organization!
We parade every Monday and Wednesday 1900hrs - 2130hrs (apart from bank holidays and Christmas)
